Job Purpose:
As the Branch/Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and strengthening our position in the Energy, Oil & Gas sectors across the Middle East region. You will oversee business development activities, manage client relationships, and ensure the effective execution of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding our market presence. This is an executive-level position that demands both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership in developing new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Strategy:
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors, focusing on both existing and emerging markets in the Middle East.
Drive the development of long-term business strategies and ensure their alignment with the company’s overall vision and market trends.
Lead and manage business development initiatives by analyzing market conditions, client needs, competitor activities, and emerging industry trends.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities by building strategic partnerships and alliances within the industry, including key clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Establish and execute marketing campaigns and business development strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the company’s products and services in the region.
2. Client and Stakeholder Management:
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers in client organizations.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposals for high-value, strategic accounts in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
Oversee the preparation of proposals, tenders, and bids in response to client requirements, ensuring compliance with specifications, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
Act as the company’s ambassador at trade events, industry conferences, and professional forums, representing the company’s interests and strengthening its presence in the market.
3. Financial Management and Contract Negotiation:
Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to develop competitive pricing models, ensuring profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and comply with company policies and regulations.
Manage the financial performance of all business development projects, ensuring all objectives are met within budgetary constraints and timelines.
4. Project Oversight and Execution:
Ensure smooth execution of business development strategies by working with project management teams to implement new client projects.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align business objectives with project execution capabilities and technical resources.
Provide support and guidance to project teams during the implementation of new projects, ensuring that client expectations are met and the highest quality standards are maintained.
5. Market Research and Intelligence:
Monitor competitive activities and emerging trends in the Energy and Oil & Gas markets to inform strategic decision-making.
Conduct detailed market analyses and identify growth opportunities in under-served markets and sectors.
Develop detailed reports and presentations on market trends, competitor activities, and project performance for senior leadership.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead a team of business development professionals and support staff, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to junior team members, helping them grow in their careers.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging the sharing of ideas and solutions to overcome challenges.
Job Requirements:
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
PMP® Certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
In-depth knowledge and experience in the Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors, particularly in business development and project management.
Proven track record in driving significant business growth and managing large, high-value contracts in a similar role.
Experience:
At least 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on business development, project management, and client relationship management.
Proven experience managing teams and cross-functional collaborations, as well as leading large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
Strong background in tendering, procurement, and contract negotiation, particularly in the energy and oil sectors.
Experience in managing branch offices and overseeing operations, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and clients.
Excellent project management skills with a strong understanding of cost estimation, scheduling, and contract management.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic and other regional languages would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying market trends and opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business development software.

Salary:
€120,000 per year net (after tax), commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Working Shift: 8 Hours Shift, 5 day’s work per week ( Saturday & Sunday Fixed off )
