About the Role

The Clinical Dietitian II will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, diagnose nutrition-related problems, determine, and implement appropriate targeted nutrition interventions, and monitor and evaluate outcomes utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.

The Clinical Dietitian II is responsible for nutrition education to patients and parents and may participate in on-going education programs for hospital staff, community, parent groups and professional organizations. Participates in performance improvement and outcome research activities.

Requirements

Training & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed from the Committee on Dietetic Registration (CDR), Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (LDN).

Experience:   

2 years related experience required as a Clinical Registered Dietitian with pediatric clinical experience preferred.

Required Licenses & Certifications:

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialed. 

Pennsylvania State Licensure (LDN) must be obtained within 90 days of hire. 

Advanced degree or specialty certification required (CSP, CNSC, CDE, CLC, CSO, IBCLC) or obtained within 12 months of hire as approved by Director, Clinical Nutrition. 

Credentials, PDP and licensure must be maintained.
